Competition of 'Universidad Autónoma de Madrid'. Saenz de Oíza.

To create a direct communication between the faculties, Oiza proposed a considerable building to associate the buildings to differents levels of the big building, through a way that he'll call horizontal lift (in other words, kind of tram).

It'll go in a high level trough the central axis and it'll regulate the lineal propose of the university with buildings on both sides.

The buildings will be located on perpendicular and parallel to the main axis.

Moreover, the residences and sports areas will be outside of that axis, there'll be on a parallel axis in a quiet and relaxed area.

Mat building: low heights and high density

Idea of the exchange of knowledge, creating a symbol of freedom, flexibility and openness.

Project created from frames, nets and other types of linear growth based clusters and stems.

It'll be an open programme and variable.

There'll be four main horizontal ways, where the buisiest buildings will be located, followed by a perpendicular ways  where they would go places areas that required more silence, life offices.
